Yashasvi Jaiswal’s brilliant century against Rajasthan and Hanuma Vihari’s commanding hundred for Tripura were the standout performances on the final day of the third round of the Ranji Trophy 2025–26 season on Tuesday.

Jaiswal dominates in drawn Mumbai–Rajasthan clash

At the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Mumbai opener Yashasvi Jaiswal produced a sparkling 156 off 174 balls, converting his overnight fifty into a memorable century in the second innings. His innings, studded with 18 boundaries and a six, came after a solid 67 in the first innings, marking a strong domestic return following his stint with India’s ODI squad in Australia, where he did not feature in any match.

Jaiswal also chipped in with the ball, dismissing Rajasthan’s Deepak Hooda, who earlier led a commanding reply with a double century, while Kartik Sharma added a fine hundred as Rajasthan piled up 617/6 declared in response to Mumbai’s 254.

With Rajasthan securing a first-innings lead of 363, the visitors fought back through Jaiswal’s ton and Musheer Khan’s half-century, reaching 269/3 before the contest concluded in a draw.

Vihari, Murasingh lift Tripura to first-innings lead over Bengal

In Agartala, Hanuma Vihari continued his rich run of form with a composed 141, guiding Tripura to 385 in reply to Bengal’s 336. Vihari, unbeaten on 121 overnight, extended his innings on the final day before falling for 141 to Ishan Porel.

All-rounder Manisankar Murasingh provided strong support with an unbeaten 102, helping Tripura secure a 52-run lead.

Earlier, Bengal’s innings was anchored by Sudip Gharami’s century and Shakir Gandhi’s fifty, giving them a competitive total. In their second outing, Bengal reached 90/3, thanks to Shahbaz Ahmed’s gritty half-century, as the match also ended in a draw.

Both fixtures reflected the growing strength of India’s domestic circuit, with young stars like Jaiswal and seasoned campaigners like Vihari showcasing their consistency across formats.
