Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani’ 3 officially announced on Navratri’s 1st Day

Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji is set to reprise her iconic role as ACP Shivani Shivaji Roy in the third instalment of the Mardaani franchise. The much-awaited announcement was made by Yash Raj Films on the first day of Navratri, marking an auspicious beginning for the project.

In Mardaani 3 , Rani’s character will face the most challenging case of her career, promising a gripping narrative that continues the franchise’s legacy of hard-hitting crime thrillers.

The makers confirmed that the film will hit theatres on February 27, 2026 . Sharing the news on Instagram, YRF wrote: “On the auspicious Day 1 of Navratri, here’s to celebrating the victory of good over evil. #RaniMukerji returns as top cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3 to investigate the most challenging case of her career. #Mardaani3 in cinemas 27th February, 2026.”
