Rangeela to re-release for 30th Anniversary

Bollywood classic Rangeela is set to return to the big screen in a brand-new avatar as it marks 30 years since its original release. Director Ram Gopal Varma announced that the 1995 blockbuster will be re-released in 4K Dolby format, bringing back the film’s vibrant colours and timeless music for a new generation of audiences.

Starring Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Jackie Shroff, the film remains a landmark in Indian cinema for its refreshing storytelling, stylish visuals, and chart-topping soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman. The re-release is expected to rekindle nostalgia among fans while offering a polished cinematic experience with modern technology.
