Ram Charan-Sujeeth Film Sparks Fresh Buzz in Tollywood

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and filmmaker Sujeeth could be heading for a collaboration, with fresh industry buzz suggesting that the two may work together on a new film. However, there is no official confirmation from either the actor or director at this stage.

According to reports emerging on September 22, 2026, Sujeeth's name has surfaced in discussions about Ram Charan's future lineup. Charan is currently preparing for his next project with director Sukumar, tentatively referred to as RC17. The film is reportedly in the pre-production stage, with regular shooting expected to begin around November.

Interestingly, the Ram Charan-Sujeeth combination has been discussed before. In 2020, reports said Sujeeth had narrated a one-line idea to Charan, who reportedly liked it and asked the filmmaker to develop a bound script. The proposed project, however, never moved forward.

Sujeeth later explained what happened. In a 2025 interview, the filmmaker revealed that he had planned a film with Ram Charan after Saaho. The story was supposed to have a UK/London backdrop, but the project was conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Sujeeth, restrictions and uncertainty around shooting films in other countries eventually prevented the project from materialising.

Sujeeth subsequently moved on to Pawan Kalyan's They Call Him OG and is now associated with Bloody Romeo, his upcoming film with Nani. The latter was officially announced in February 2026 as a pan-Indian action drama, with Nani playing a character described as a chef and gangster. Recent reports indicate that the film's shoot is expected to begin in October, following The Paradise.

Meanwhile, Charan's immediate focus remains his reunion with Sukumar following their earlier collaboration Rangasthalam. Recent reports suggest that RC17 is being prepared as a large-scale commercial project, with the makers targeting a November shooting schedule.

The latest Sujeeth-Ram Charan buzz is therefore notable because it revives a combination that had already been discussed several years ago. If the new reports eventually turn into an official project, it would finally bring together the actor and filmmaker after their earlier collaboration failed to take off.

For now, though, the Ram Charan-Sujeeth film remains unconfirmed. There is no official title, storyline, production announcement, shooting schedule or release date. Until the makers make an announcement, the project should be treated as industry buzz rather than a confirmed addition to Charan's lineup.
