Rajasthan School Visit Sparks Clash As CJP Team Faces Local Opposition, Dipke Hits Out At Police

A school inspection by a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) team in a Rajasthan village on Friday turned tense after locals allegedly confronted and pushed the team out of the area, prompting CJP convenor Abhijeet Dipke to accuse the state police of remaining a “mute spectator”.

The incident took place at Rampura Kanwarpura village in Jaipur district, where the CJP team had arrived to inspect the condition of a government school. The team included CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka.

According to sources, a confrontation broke out between the CJP workers and villagers, who were joined by BJP workers. The team was subsequently pushed out of the area.

Reacting to the incident, Dipke launched a series of posts on X, alleging that CJP volunteers had been attacked while visiting government schools.

“ Rajasthan Police seems to be a mute spectator,” Dipke said, questioning why the police had not intervened. He also alleged that Ranka and other volunteers were beaten and injured during the confrontation.

The controversy comes against the backdrop of concerns over the condition of the school. The school building was reportedly declared unsafe and closed for students, with classes currently being conducted in a cattle enclosure nearby.

Villagers, however, maintained that the school could be repaired through local efforts and claimed that the government had already sanctioned funds for the work.

The CJP team had planned to visit two government schools in Jaipur district on Friday to assess infrastructure and facilities available to students.

The visit also follows a recent controversy over the entry of outsiders and media personnel into Rajasthan government schools. Following earlier inspections by the CJP, the state education department reportedly restricted such access unless there was a specific reason.

The latest confrontation has now added a fresh political dimension to the dispute over school infrastructure and access to government institutions.
