Rajasthan, IIHMR Universities join hands for academic, research boost
The University of Rajasthan and IIHMR University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic cooperation, research collaboration, and student development initiatives.
The three-year agreement aims to promote joint efforts in areas such as research, curriculum development, and skill enhancement, creating new opportunities for both faculty and students. The MoU was signed by University of Rajasthan Registrar Ashu Choudhary and IIHMR University President P. R. Sodani.
According to a statement from IIHMR University, the partnership will pave the way for joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programmes, and collaborative curriculum design. It will also facilitate internships, training sessions, and dissertation supervision to strengthen students’ academic and professional capabilities.
The collaboration will extend to organising workshops, seminars, and conferences on emerging themes including public health, sociology, and sustainable development — areas where both institutions have active research interests.
Officials from both universities expressed optimism that the MoU would contribute to advancing interdisciplinary research and innovation, while also enhancing the overall quality of higher education and employability of students in Rajasthan and beyond.
