
Rajasthan Assembly Bomb Threat Turns Out to Be Hoax After Security Check
The Rajasthan Assembly building in Jaipur was placed under a high security alert on Monday after an email bomb threat was received at its official email address, prompting a swift response from law enforcement agencies.
According to officials, the threatening email , which warned of a possible bomb blast on the premises , was received on Monday morning. Soon after the alert, the matter was immediately reported to the police, following which a bomb disposal squad along with other security teams was rushed to the Assembly complex.
The entire Assembly building was thoroughly searched as part of the security operation. Police personnel and bomb detection units conducted a detailed inspection of the premises to ensure the safety of legislators, staff, and visitors.
Officials confirmed that after an extensive search, no suspicious object or explosive material was found anywhere inside the Assembly premises. Security agencies later stated that the threat appears to be a hoax , bringing relief to those present in the building.
Authorities also said that all necessary security protocols were followed promptly after receiving the email, and the situation was brought under control without any disruption to normal functioning for long.
