‘Raaka’ title unveiled: Allu Arjun’s A22, LK7 hints at AA23

The title of Telugu star Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated collaboration with filmmaker Atlee has been unveiled as Raaka , marking a major milestone in the actor’s 22nd film (A22), which is being mounted on a grand scale by Sun Pictures.

The announcement coincided with Arjun’s 44th birthday, with the makers releasing a striking first-look poster that showcases the actor in a bold, never-seen-before avatar. Sporting a completely bald look, intense kohl-lined eyes, a thick beard, and claw-like elements framing his face, Arjun appears in a fierce and menacing transformation, hinting at the film’s fantasy-action backdrop.

The project, previously referred to as A22, now officially titled Raaka , marks Arjun’s maiden collaboration with Atlee, known for directing blockbuster films such as Mersal, Theri, and the Hindi hit Jawan. The director described the film as a long-cherished vision, revealing that the core idea has stayed with him for nearly two decades.

Adding to the buzz around Arjun’s birthday , filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj extended wishes to the actor on social media, expressing enthusiasm for their upcoming collaboration. “Wishing my hero Allu Arjun sir a very happy birthday.
