Actor Nandu, known for his versatility as a hero, character artist, and dubbing artist in the Telugu film industry, is back with a new project titled “Psycho Siddharth.” Ever since his debut in 2006 with Photo and gaining recognition through Savari, Nandu has carved a niche for himself. After receiving a good response for his previous film The Mystery Moksha, the actor is now ready to entertain audiences again with this upcoming adult comedy entertainer, slated for a theatrical release on December 12, 2025.

The recently released teaser has become a hot topic among netizens. While it grabbed attention for its bold dialogues and unfiltered language, it also faced criticism for excessive use of vulgar words. Some viewers expressed curiosity about how such a bold film was made, while others questioned its purpose and the kind of message it conveys to society.

Directed by Varun Reddy, the film features Nandu in the lead role alongside Yamini Bhaskar. Set in Hyderabad, the story revolves around a hyperactive young man who gets irritated over small things and considers himself a failure. The makers promise a mix of comedy and emotion that keeps audiences engaged. Nandu’s long messy hair, rugged beard, and energetic dialogue delivery have impressed viewers, giving the teaser a unique vibe.

The supporting cast includes Yamini Bhaskar, Priyanka Rebecca Srinivas, Mounika, Sakshi Athre, Narasimha S, Sukesh, Vadekar Narasingh, and Pratyumna Pilluri. Produced jointly by Shyam Sundar Reddy and Nandu, the film is backed by Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, adding more weight to the project.

The 2-minute-9-second teaser shows Nandu expressing his frustration during a car ride, using raw language and local slang, clearly targeting youth audiences. With its blend of social satire and dark comedy, Psycho Siddharth seems to attempt a new genre. However, before its release, it has already stirred controversy online, with comments like “Such films only spoil the youth” and “Are v ulgar dialogues really necessary?” flooding social media. It remains to be seen how the makers will respond to the backlash.
