Private Travel Bus Gutted by Fire Near Nandigama

A private travel bus caught fire in the early hours of Saturday near Nandigama in NTR district of Andhra Pradesh . The bus was en route from Hyderabad to Vijayawada when smoke suddenly began billowing from the rear engine compartment as it reached the Keesara (Kesara) toll gate in Kanchikacherla mandal .

Alerted to the situation, the driver immediately stopped the vehicle and warned the passengers. All 39 passengers on board safely alighted, narrowly escaping a major tragedy. Moments later, the bus was engulfed in flames and was completely gutted.

Fire services and police rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control. The incident caused a brief traffic disruption in the area. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, and further details are awaited.
