Principal promotions in Punjab now 75%

The Punjab government has announced a significant reform in the education sector by raising the quota for promotions to the post of school principal from 50% to 75%. Under the revised policy, three-fourths of principal posts will now be filled through promotions from within the teaching cadre, while the remaining 25% will continue to be filled through direct recruitment.
