Pranavi Urs Finishes 38th In Switzerland As Eleanor Givens Claims Maiden LET Title
Indian golfer Pranavi Urs finished tied-38th at the 2026 VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open, carding an even-par 71 in the final round as England’s Eleanor Givens finally secured her maiden Ladies European Tour (LET) title.
Pranavi, the only Indian to make the cut, finished the tournament at 3-under par after rounds of 70, 69, 71 and 71. Her final round featured four birdies and four bogeys as she battled through an inconsistent day at Golfpark Holzhausern.
India’s Tvesa Malik and Diksha Dagar failed to make the cut after the opening 36 holes.
At the top, Givens produced a brilliant final-round 66, five under par, to overturn a four-shot deficit and finish at 13-under par, winning by one stroke.
The 37-year-old’s victory ended an extraordinary wait. Givens joined the LET in 2012 and had gone through 15 seasons and 210 starts without a title, while injuries and a return to Q-School last December had added to her struggles.
She made her move with a strong front nine, going out in 32 before a crucial birdie at the 10th. The decisive moment came at the short par-5 17th, where Givens reached the green in two and converted the birdie chance.
She then held her nerve with a par on the final hole, waiting anxiously as the remaining contenders completed their rounds.
Whitney Hillier, Alexandra Forsterling and Anna Foster shared second place at 12-under, one shot behind the champion.
Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjall, who started the final round with a three-shot lead, slipped to fifth after dropping three shots in her first 10 holes.
For Givens, the breakthrough was deeply emotional after years of perseverance. “This is life changing,” she said after lifting her long-awaited trophy.
