Prabhas’ The Raja Saab trailer to premiere today

After making a brief cameo in Kannappa , Rebel Star Prabhas is now gearing up for his much-anticipated horror-comedy The Raja Saab . The film’s official team has confirmed that the trailer will premiere on from today, accompanied by a striking poster featuring Prabhas standing amid flames with a mysterious shadowy figure looming behind him.

Directed by Maruthi Dasari, The Raja Saab promises a refreshing blend of horror, comedy, and drama. Known for his successful entertainers like Prati Roju Pandage and Mahanubhavudu , Maruthi has teamed up with Prabhas for the first time, raising expectations for a mass entertainer with a unique twist.

In the film, Prabhas is set to showcase his versatility in dual roles playing both a cash-strapped heir and the spectral figure of his grandfather, as the story delves into long-buried palace secrets. The movie also features an ensemble cast including Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt, along with Nidhhi Agerwal and Malavika Mohanan as the leading ladies.

Production wrapped up in mid-2025, and the film is slated for a grand release on January 9, 2026, in five languages Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Adding to the buzz, the trailer will also be attached to screenings of Kantara Chapter 1 starting October 2.

With Prabhas teaming up with Maruthi for the first time and stepping into an unconventional horror-comedy genre, The Raja Saab is already being hailed as one of the most awaited films of 2026.
