Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’ Has Just 60 Days Of Shoot Left: Is March 2027 Release Locked?

Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly anticipated ‘Spirit’ is progressing steadily, with the makers aiming to deliver one of Indian cinema’s biggest action spectacles. The film, which has generated massive expectations, is currently moving ahead according to its planned production schedule.

The team has already completed around 50 days of shooting, while the next major schedule is expected to begin in October 2026. Once Prabhas fully commits to the project, the makers are reportedly expecting another 60–65 working days to complete the remaining portions.

With this schedule, the total production is expected to span around 110–120 working days, equivalent to roughly four months of actual filming. The makers are following a carefully structured shooting plan, with schedules and breaks allowing the team to simultaneously work on post-production and prepare upcoming portions.

Vanga has previously indicated that the film’s shooting pattern involves working for a limited number of days before taking extended breaks. This approach is intended to give the team sufficient time to evaluate footage and maintain the scale and quality envisioned for the project.

Prabhas will reportedly play a ruthless police officer, marking another intense character in his expanding action-film lineup. The film also stars Triptii Dimri as the female lead, while Vivek Oberoi, Kanchana and others are part of the cast.

The makers have locked March 5, 2027, as the theatrical release date. Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, ‘Spirit’ features music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.

With around half of the shoot already completed and the remaining work mapped out, ‘Spirit’ is now entering a crucial phase. If the upcoming schedules proceed as planned, the Prabhas starrer is expected to remain on course for its March 2027 release.
