Prabhas’ ‘Spirit’ audio glimpse goes viral, AI-generated voices spark buzz
Among all of Prabhas’ upcoming films, ‘Spirit’ is being described as the most perfect pan-India project. While directors like Hanu Raghavapudi and Maruthi are making good films in different genres, the hype around Sandeep Reddy Vanga has put ‘Spirit’ in a completely different league.
Fans are eagerly waiting to know when the film will start shooting and when it will release. One of the highlights of the movie is that Prabhas will be seen as a police officer for the first time.
On Prabhas’ birthday, fans were eagerly waiting for updates throughout the day. Since nothing came out by the evening, many thought there might not be any update at all. However, at midnight around 12 AM, an audio glimpse titled ‘One Bad Habit’ was released. Though it was titled as a video, it was only audio. The clip features three to four dialogues set in a jail backdrop. Prakash Raj is seen as the jail superintendent, and there are conversations with Prabhas as an IPS officer behind the jail bars. The audio clip went viral online within minutes.
What’s interesting is that the entire audio glimpse is said to have been created using AI, according to discussions in the industry. It was generated using a dubbing software developed by an engineer named Pappu. Using this technology, actors’ voices can be generated with AI without recording in a studio. This technology has been used in a major star film before. Reports also say that Prabhas personally supported the development of this technology.
