The hype around Ustaad Bhagat Singh skyrocketed once again after the makers released a surprise announcement video late at night, instantly taking over social media. Shared by the official handle Ustaad Bhagat Singh @UBSTheFilm , the clip was barely five seconds long, just a raw behind-the-scenes moment, yet it spread at lightning speed across Instagram, X and Facebook. The timing, the sudden drop and the energy packed into those few seconds created a massive storm online.

This midnight surprise arrived after two earlier teasers that had already showcased Pawan Kalyan in peak mass form as a police officer, reminding fans of his trademark authoritative screen presence. While those teasers boosted expectations, this spontaneous short clip intensified the hype even further. The caption promised the energy fans love, the dance they enjoy, the attitude they celebrate and the man they worship, all captured in one high-voltage single envisioned by director Harish Shankar, popularly known as the Cult Captain.

The video opens with Devi Sri Prasad’s voice “ahhh adhi adhi adhi, adhi,”. As DSP’s voice rises, the frame captures Pawan Kalyan in an intense all-black outfit featuring black shoes, pants, shirt, coat and belt, paired with a sleek silver chain around his neck. He is seen smiling with a warm vintage-style charm and genuinely enjoying his dance moves, giving fans a nostalgic flashback.

This video also made one thing certain - the film’s first single will release in December. That confirmation alone turned the entire month into a festival for Power Star fans.

When early rumours suggested that Ustaad Bhagat Singh might follow the structure of Policeodu , some fans expressed disappointment and trolled Harish Shankar online. The debate highlighted a long-running conversation around his career, as many of his earlier films are officially remakes. However, fans often acknowledge that Harish tends to rework remakes with his own mass sensibilities, restructuring scenes, elevating humour and enhancing emotional beats to suit Telugu audiences. Gabbar Singh stands as the strongest example of this approach, widely regarded as a remake that far surpassed the original and became one of the most celebrated milestones in Pawan Kalyan’s career.

Meanwhile, Ustaad Bhagat Singh has completed its principal shooting, and industry reports indicate a potential theatrical release around March 2026, though the official date is yet to be announced.

Featuring Pawan Kalyan alongside Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna and supported by R. Parthiban, the film includes music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Bose and production design by Anand Sai. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers with Sony Music South handling the music rollout, the film continues to generate massive buzz with every update.
