Pooja Hegde Turns 36, 'Sri Sri' Makers Unveil Special Birthday Poster

Actress Pooja Hegde celebrated her 36th birthday on October 13, with fans and well-wishers flooding social media with wishes. Adding to the celebrations, the makers of her upcoming Telugu film 'Sri Sri' unveiled a special birthday poster featuring the actress, offering a fresh glimpse of her look in the romantic drama.

The film's production house, SLV Cinemas, shared the poster with a heartfelt message for the actress. “You made this story all the more beautiful with your charm and grace,” the team wrote, celebrating Pooja's contribution to the project. The poster features the actress in a maroon kurti against a royal-looking backdrop, with her natural appearance and warm smile drawing attention from fans.

Pooja stars opposite Dulquer Salmaan in 'Sri Sri', which marks their first on-screen collaboration. The film also features Dheekshith Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. Directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi, the project was previously known as 'DQ41' before its title was announced in July.

Promotional material released so far suggests that the film revolves around romance, youthful relationships and emotional connections. The makers have also released the song 'Bomma Bomma', composed by GV Prakash Kumar, offering audiences an early taste of the film's musical appeal. Cinematography is handled by Anay Om Goswamy, while Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is in charge of editing.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, 'Sri Sri' is planned as a multilingual release, targeting audiences across Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi markets. The project also marks Pooja's return to a leading role in Telugu cinema after a gap, making the pairing with Dulquer an interesting development for fans.

The makers had earlier announced December 4, 2026, as the film's theatrical release date. However, reports now suggest that the schedule could change, with an official clarification awaited.

As birthday wishes continue to pour in, the new poster has renewed interest in 'Sri Sri'. Fans are now waiting for further updates on the film's release date, promotional campaign and first full-length trailer.
