POCO M7 plus 5G: Big battery, big value

POCO India has unveiled a 4GB RAM variant of its M7 Plus 5G smartphone, aiming to offer a more affordable option without compromising on performance. This new limited edition model will be available exclusively on Flipkart, with early access beginning on September 22 and the official sale commencing on September 23.

The M7 Plus 5G has previously been launched in 6GB and 8GB RAM configurations and has garnered attention for its robust features, including a 7000mAh silicon carbon battery, which is among the largest in its segment. This battery is designed to endure up to 1600 charge cycles and maintain up to 80% capacity even after four years of use. Additionally, the device supports 18W reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power bank for other devices.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.9-inch AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and an enhanced viewing experience. Under the hood, the M7 Plus 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, providing efficient performance for everyday tasks and multitasking.

Sandeep Singh Arora, Chief Business Officer at POCO and Xiaomi India, commented on the launch, stating, “The introduction of the 4GB limited edition variant of the POCO M7 Plus 5G is a direct response to the incredible demand we’ve received from our community. At POCO, our mission is to democratize high-performance technology and make it accessible to all.”

The M7 Plus 5G also offers IP64-rated dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in various conditions. It runs on Android 15 with Hyper OS and is expected to receive two generations of OS updates and four years of security updates.
