Playing With Students' Future? Telangana Cracks Down on Dhanik Bharat Colleges

The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has initiated action against Dhanik Bharat Junior Colleges for allegedly admitting students and conducting classes without obtaining the mandatory approvals from the board. The move comes amid growing concerns over private institutions operating outside the regulatory framework and putting students' academic future at risk.

According to officials, the Ranga Reddy District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO) has served a show-cause notice to the college management, directing it to explain why action should not be taken for violating the board's rules and regulations.

The action follows allegations that the institution has been running multiple campuses and enrolling Intermediate students despite lacking official recognition from the board. Authorities said such practices mislead students and parents while undermining the state's education norms.

Officials confirmed that seven branches operating under the Dhanik Bharat name in the Greater Hyderabad region do not have valid permission from the Intermediate Board. These campuses are located in Madinaguda, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Bongulur (Residential Campus), and Madhapur (Boys' and Girls' Campuses).

The issue came to light following a complaint filed by Dr. Masaram Prem Kumar, President of CJS, who alleged that the institutions were functioning without the required approvals, including mandatory safety clearances such as a Fire NOC. The complaint also accused the management of failing to comply with basic regulatory requirements while continuing admissions and academic activities.

Taking serious note of the allegations, DIEO M.A. Venkya stated that operating colleges without authorization is a grave violation of the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education norms. The management has been instructed to submit its explanation immediately.

The notice further warns that if the response is found unsatisfactory or if no explanation is submitted within the stipulated time, the board will presume that the management has no valid justification and proceed with strict disciplinary action under the applicable regulations.

Education authorities reiterated that institutions cannot be allowed to compromise the future of students by operating without statutory approvals and emphasized that violations of this nature will be dealt with firmly.
