Nearly 21 years after its original release on August 10, 2005, Athadu , one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated action-family entertainers, is all set to make a grand return to theatres on February 28, much to the delight of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s fans.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Athadu starred Trisha as the female lead and featured music composed by Mani Sharma. The announcement of the theatrical re-release has sparked massive buzz on social media, with fan associations celebrating the return of what many call a “timeless classic.” Younger audiences are especially eager to experience the film on the big screen for the first time.
Adding to the excitement, Mahesh Babu’s fans are also eagerly awaiting his upcoming Varanasi-based film, directed by SS Rajamouli, which promises a grand scale and a completely new cinematic experience.
With nostalgia running high and anticipation building for his future projects, the re-release of Athadu is set to make February 28 a memorable date for Telugu cinema lovers.
