Pawan Kalyan to Visit Kakinada Every Two Months

The Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan, has placed special focus on the development of Kakinada district and announced that he will visit the Pithapuram constituency once every two months. He said these visits will help him directly interact with people, understand their issues, and ensure quick solutions.

During a review meeting held at the camp office in Mangalagiri with the District Collector and Superintendent of Police, he issued several key instructions. He directed officials to speed up development works and prioritize strengthening infrastructure across the district.

He stressed the need to provide safe drinking water to every household and ordered strict monitoring to ensure uninterrupted supply. On road infrastructure, he made it clear that all roads must be free of potholes , instructing officials to immediately repair minor damages and reconstruct severely damaged stretches.

He also emphasized improving services in government hospitals by ensuring adequate facilities and regular monitoring. Special focus was placed on sanitation and the development of parks at the village level. He further instructed officials to conduct regular visits to schools and hostels to ensure students receive proper facilities.

For youth development, he recommended promoting sports, arts, and skill training programs along with strengthening libraries. As part of environmental protection efforts, he directed forest officials to carry out plantation drives and complete the “Great Green Wall” project along the coastline before the monsoon.

He also called for strict action against the illegal transportation of ration rice and ordered a crackdown on the PDS mafia . He emphasized that welfare schemes must reach eligible beneficiaries without delay.

Reaffirming the government’s commitment, the Deputy Chief Minister said a comprehensive approach will be followed to address development needs and public grievances effectively.
