Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and People Media Factory in final talks for multi-film Tollywood partnership
Recent reports indicate that People Media Factory (PMF), led by TG Vishwa Prasad, and Pawan Kalyan Creative Works (PKCW), the banner of actor‑politician Pawan Kalyan, are in “final talks” to formalize a multi‑film collaboration. The proposed deal reportedly includes two major “tent‑pole” films starring Pawan Kalyan, along with several other projects under the joint banner.
This collaboration builds on a pre-existing alliance announced in April 2021, when PMF and PKCW said they would co‑produce up to 15 films — a mix of big, medium, and low-budget features, with two earmarked for Pawan Kalyan. Their first concrete outing under that agreement was the 2023 film Bro, a fantasy‑comedy starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej. Bro was produced by PMF (in association with Zee Studios), directed by Samuthirakani, with screenplay by Trivikram Srinivas.
Bro was conceived as a remake of Samuthirakani’s 2021 Tamil film, and the production began in early 2023, wrapping up mid‑year. With a reported budget of around ₹80 crore, the film grossed approximately ₹100.50 crore — marking a modest commercial success that reaffirmed the viability of the PMF–PKCW collaboration.
The renewed interest in a multi‑film transpires at a moment when both production muscle and star power matter more than ever: the talks reportedly envisage Pawan Kalyan not just as an actor, but also as a creative stakeholder — contributing to script selection, content decisions, and overall creative vision for the projects under this alliance.
Industry analysts view this potential partnership as a strategic move to consistently deliver “event‑scale” cinema with high repeat value, crafted for franchise potential and global rollout. With PMF’s expertise in high‑budget, VFX‑heavy, large‑format productions, and Pawan’s enduring mass appeal, these films could be positioned as pan‑Indian or even global spectacle cinema aimed at maximizing box‑office reach beyond regional boundaries.
Although there is as yet no official public announcement, insiders say confirmation may come once final negotiations wrap up. If the collaboration goes through, many believe it may count among the most influential production tie‑ups in Tollywood’s next growth phase, reshaping how Telugu cinema approaches ambition, scale, and global aspirations.
