The release of Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been pushed to May 15, 2026, from its earlier scheduled date of March 4. The makers have cited the need for additional time to fine-tune the film as the reason behind the shift.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film stars Khurrana alongside Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh . Billed as a fresh spin on the popular marital comedy template, the film ups the ante by placing its protagonist in the middle of three strong female characters, each pulling him in different directions. The film’s tagline hinting at “love and everything after” promises a light-hearted take on modern relationships.

Newly released posters showcase a cheeky, colourful tone, aligning with Ayushmann Khurrana’s trademark brand of humour. While fans welcomed the update, some also shared playful reactions online about the film’s extended title.

Pati Patni Aur Woh Do builds on the legacy of the Pati Patni Aur Woh franchise , which has been known for its comic treatment of marital chaos and social satire. The earlier instalment struck a chord with audiences for its relatable humour and contemporary take on relationships, setting expectations high for the sequel.

For Khurrana, the film marks a return to his familiar comedy space after his last release Thamma , which saw him explore a more serious, performance-driven role. While Thamma earned appreciation for its content-driven approach, audiences have been eager to see the actor revisit the quirky, slice-of-life humour that made him a household name.

With its ensemble cast, updated premise and a summer release window, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is now slated to arrive in cinemas on May 15, 2026, positioning itself as a key entertainer for the season.
