Passenger safety is our top priority: T’gana RTC

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) continues to prioritize the safety and comfort of its passengers, ensuring they reach their destinations securely. Officials say the corporation has strengthened safety measures across its fleet of buses to safeguard passengers’ well-being.

Key safety features in AC buses TGSRTC’s AC buses - including Lahari AC Sleeper, Lahari AC Sleeper-cum-Seater, and Rajadhani AC buses - are equipped with advanced safety systems. Features include:

• Emergency doors at the rear of the bus

• Hammers to break windows in case of emergencies

• Fire extinguishers

• Automatic fire detection and suppression systems in the driver’s cabin to quickly identify and control any fire

• Sirens to alert passengers in case of emergencies

Safety measures in other buses Super Luxury buses also have fire extinguishers and emergency doors located at the right rear side. Deluxe, Express, and Palle Velugu buses are similarly equipped with emergency exits and fire safety equipment on the right rear side.

Officials emphasized that the support and trust of passengers are a strong motivation for TGSRTC. They assured travelers that journeys on RTC buses are safe and comfortable. Passengers are encouraged to take note of these safety arrangements and use them appropriately in emergencies.
