Partial water supply disruption in several areas of Hyderabad today
Residents in parts of Hyderabad may experience interruptions in water supply today due to maintenance work by the Hyderabad Metro Water Works and Sewerage Board. The disruption is linked to ongoing work at the Krishna Phase-1, 2, and 3 pumping stations, which supply water to the city.
Bulk power feeders supplying electricity to these stations will be temporarily switched off to install new current transformers at the Nasarlapalli water board pumping station’s 132 kV substations. The power shutdown by TSGenco is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling six hours.
As a result, areas under Krishna Phase-1, 2, and 3 divisions may face partial water supply interruptions during this period. Water authorities have advised residents to use water sparingly until normal supply resumes.
Affected areas include: Charminar, Vinay Nagar, Bojagutta, Red Hills, Narayanguda, SR Nagar, Marredpally, Riyasat Nagar, Kukatpally, Saheb Nagar, Hayat Nagar, Sainikpuri, Uppal, Hafeezpet, Rajendra Nagar, Manikonda, Boduppal, and Meerpet.
