The Education Commission constituted to formulate a comprehensive education policy tailored for Telangana has submitted its report to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy . Telangana Education Commission Chairman Akunuri Murali formally presented the report to the Chief Minister on Thursday. The report is aimed at restructuring the state’s education system in line with contemporary requirements .

Under the leadership of retired bureaucrat Akunuri Murali , the Commission conducted extensive consultations and studies before finalising the report. The document contains recommendations on curricula, teaching methodologies, teacher training and infrastructure , covering primary to higher education . The Commission has placed special emphasis on quality enhancement and equal opportunities within the state’s education system.

Government advisers K. Keshav Rao and Vem Narender Reddy were present at the submission ceremony. They said the report would provide direction for education sector reforms and serve as a key reference for government policy decisions .

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had announced last month that the state would implement a separate education policy aligned with the National Education Policy . An expert committee was constituted in this regard, and the government has received the report based on its recommendations. According to official sources, comprehensive discussions on the report are expected soon, after which a new education policy for Telangana may be announced.
