
Out-Patient Services Begin At Sanathnagar TIMS Hospital
With the objective of providing corporate-level healthcare to the poor , out-patient (OP) services at the Sanathnagar Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) Hospital commenced on Friday.
Acting on the directions of Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha , officials have initiated a trial run of the services.
The trial run will continue for one month , during which out-patient and diagnostic services will be available daily from 9 am to 11 am .
Medical services will be offered across 22 departments , including Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Urology, General Medicine, and Surgery , among others.
The government has already deployed the required doctors and paramedical staff to ensure the smooth conduct of the trial phase.
Through this trial run, authorities will assess the hospital’s infrastructure readiness and service quality . Based on the findings, the facility will be made fully operational for public services in the near future.
With this development, specialty and super-specialty healthcare services are expected to become more accessible to economically weaker sections in Hyderabad.
