Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy , calling his claims in Kerala that the Congress government has implemented the six guarantees in Telangana “ blatant lies .” Speaking to the media on Saturday, he remarked that Reddy deserved an “ Oscar award for telling lies .”

Issuing an open challenge, Sanjay said, “If Revanth Reddy proves that the six guarantees have been implemented in Telangana, I will resign from my ministerial post. If I prove they are false, will he resign from his position as Chief Minister?” He urged Reddy to tour villages and streets in Telangana along with Kerala media representatives instead of “sitting in air-conditioned halls and making claims.”

He alleged that key promises remain unfulfilled, including ₹2,500 monthly financial assistance for women , increase of Aasara pensions to ₹4,000 , ₹5 lakh assurance cards for students , ₹15,000 Rythu Bharosa for tenant farmers , and ₹12,000 support for agricultural labourers . He also questioned the status of commitments such as a job calendar for recruitment , distribution of scooters to women , and 10 grams of gold .

Sanjay further alleged that similar “false promises” were made during elections in Maharashtra and Haryana , and accused the Telangana Congress of now “exporting lies” to Kerala. He invited Kerala media representatives to visit Telangana and interact with farmers and unemployed youth to understand the ground reality, stating that “ the truth will come out within a day .” He warned that the Congress party cannot sustain itself on “ falsehoods alone .”
