
NTR-Prashanth Neel’s Dragon OTT rights acquired by Netflix
NTR and Prashanth Neel’s much‑anticipated pan India two‑part film Dragon is currently in full swing on the shooting sets, generating a huge buzz across the film fraternity. The latest update from the makers reveals that the OTT rights for this high‑budget action saga have been acquired by Netflix in a massive digital deal.
Produced jointly by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, with music composed by Ravi Basrur, Dragon is being made on an unprecedented scale and is touted as the biggest production in Prashanth Neel’s career.
The makers have announced that the first glimpse (teaser) of the film is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2026 , coinciding with a major celebratory moment ahead of NTR’s birthday, and is expected to include the official title and the first look of the project.
Dragon is slated to hit theatres in 2027 marking one of the most anticipated summer releases of the year in Indian cinema.
