NTR Social Security Pensions Provide Lifeline to the Poor, Says MLA Galla Madhavi
The NTR Social Security Pension Scheme in Andhra Pradesh is serving as a vital financial lifeline for the poor , elderly , differently-abled , and widows , according to Guntur West MLA Galla Madhavi.
She handed over pensions to beneficiaries at a distribution programme held on Friday in Srinivasaraopet of the 22nd Division in her constituency. Several leaders, including TDP district president Pilli Manikya Rao, BJP district president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao, and APTS Chairman Mannava Mohana Krishna, were present.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the NDA government is placing strong emphasis on social security and ensuring efficient implementation of welfare schemes. She pointed out that earlier, beneficiaries had to visit government offices multiple times to collect pensions, but now the government is delivering services directly to people’s doorsteps in a transparent manner.
She noted that under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the state is prioritizing welfare and taking steps to ensure that benefits reach every eligible individual. Pensions, she said, are not just financial assistance but also a source of assurance and confidence for families.
Madhavi added that newly approved pensions have been disbursed from this month, and the government is consistently delivering payments on time to lakhs of beneficiaries, setting a benchmark. The event saw participation from local leaders, party workers, women, and a large number of beneficiaries.
