Andhra Pradesh IT Minister and Human Resources head Nara Lokesh has been appointed as the National Working President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) , marking a significant leadership transition within the party.

In a social media statement, Lokesh described the role as a lifelong responsibility and expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him. He credited his rise from a grassroots worker to a leadership position to the support and sacrifices of party cadres, and thanked party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for his guidance.

Reaffirming his commitment to the party’s ideology and the welfare of Andhra Pradesh , Lokesh said he would focus on sincere public service. He also pledged to strengthen the party at the national level and work towards attracting more youth.
