No Ticket Price Hike for Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika’s ‘Ranabaali’, Makers Clarify
There will be no ticket price hike for Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Ranabaali in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the makers have clarified, putting an end to reports of an additional charge for the upcoming period action drama.
Mythri Movie Makers, which is backing the film, dismissed reports that it had applied for a ₹50 ticket price increase in Andhra Pradesh. The production house clarified that it had not sought any ticket price hike in either of the two Telugu states.
In a post on X on October 4, Mythri Movie Makers said reports claiming that the team had applied for a price increase in Andhra Pradesh were false. The production house stressed that Ranabaali would be released at standard ticket prices in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The makers also expressed confidence that the film would offer audiences a strong cinematic experience during the festive season. The clarification is expected to provide relief to fans who were concerned about potentially higher ticket prices for the highly anticipated release.
Ranabaali is set against a historical backdrop spanning 1854 to 1878 and is positioned as a period action drama built around resistance, conflict and high-octane action. The film has generated considerable interest because it brings Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna together once again.
The movie is particularly significant as it marks their first film release after their marriage in February 2026. It is also their third collaboration overall. The pair previously appeared together in the successful films Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, both of which became popular with Telugu audiences.
With the makers now confirming that there will be no special ticket pricing in AP or Telangana, Ranabaali is set to reach audiences at regular ticket rates. The team is looking forward to the film's release during the festive season, with expectations riding on its period setting, action-driven storyline and the popular pairing of its lead actors.
