Nivin Pauly unveils eco-animated shortfilm ‘Blu’ ,

Actor Nivin Pauly recently unveiled the heartfelt animated short film ‘Blu’, directed by Rajesh PK and featuring music by Sushin Shyam. Produced by RedGod Studios in collaboration with Shibin KV, Jaser PV, Jeeth Parambendavida, and Rajesh PK, the film has already garnered critical acclaim at international film festivals.

Blu tells the story of a young girl growing up in harmony with nature, who witnesses her environment being consumed by industrialization. Determined to protect wildlife, meadows, rivers, and trees from disappearing, she takes a stand, making the film a poignant commentary on environmental conservation.

The short has already earned multiple accolades, including Best 3D Short Film at the Animotion Film Festival (Italy), Best Animation Short Film at the Indie Short Fest (Los Angeles), and Second Runner-Up at the Bengaluru International Short Film Festival (India). It has also been officially selected at renowned international festivals such as Sitges (Spain), Spark Animation (Canada), Boston Film Festival (US), Aesthetica Short Film Festival (UK), and Catalina Film Festival (USA), among others.

With sound design by Shijin Melvin Hutton and Abhishek Nair, and re-recording mixing by Fazal A Backer, Blu combines stunning visuals with an emotive soundtrack to deliver a powerful environmental message. From Kerala to the world, the animated short is making its mark on the global stage, showcasing the potential of Indian animation on international platforms.
