Nitin Nabin to attend Bihar assembly budget session

BJP national president Nitin Nabin , who represents the Bankipur constituency in the Bihar Assembly, will attend the ongoing budget session of the House this week. Today will mark his first appearance in the Bihar Assembly after assuming charge as the party’s national chief.

According to BJP national media co-incharge Sanjay Mayukh, Nabin will be on a two-day visit to Bihar starting Monday. During the visit, he will take part in public programmes and chair an organisational meeting at the BJP state office in Patna . Yesterday evening, he met the Bihar BJP legislature party leader and its members at the party office, and also met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as part of his schedule.

Today, Nabin will participate in the Bihar Legislative Assembly session.

Nabin took over as the BJP’s 12th national president on January 20 after being elected unopposed . Earlier, on December 14 last year, the party had appointed the 45-year-old leader as its national working president, a move widely seen as signalling a generational shift within the ruling party.
