The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday conducted coordinated searches at multiple locations across Jammu and Kashmir as part of its ongoing investigation into the Red Fort car bomb blast, officials said.

The agency carried out raids at nine locations across the Union Territory, covering Handwara in Kupwara district, Rafiabad in Baramulla district, parts of Kulgam, and several areas in Srinagar . The searches are aimed at uncovering local support networks, facilitators, and logistical links associated with the attack.

According to officials, investigators are examining digital devices, documents, and communication records during the searches to trace individuals who may have assisted the attacker or played a role in planning and execution. The operations are part of a broader crackdown on suspected terror associates, including those believed to have provided financial support, shelter, or logistical assistance .

The case relates to the November 10, 2025 car bomb explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort, which left 13 people dead and several others injured, making it one of the most significant terror incidents in the national capital in recent years.

Investigators identified the attacker as Umar Un Nabi , a medical doctor and assistant professor at Al Falah University in Faridabad, who carried out a suicide bombing using an explosives-laden car outside the monument.

The NIA has so far arrested 11 accused in connection with the case and has been probing suspected terror modules, recruitment channels, and inter-state linkages . Officials said the investigation has also explored possible cross-regional connections , prompting continued searches in Jammu and Kashmir.

The latest raids underline the agency’s effort to dismantle the broader ecosystem behind the attack , moving beyond the lone bomber to identify the full chain of conspiracy. Further searches and arrests are likely as the NIA continues to piece together the network involved.
