New telugu film Agadha introduces Kamakshi Bhaskarla as Powerful Mahadevi

A new Telugu film Agadha has generated buzz with the introduction of actor Kamakshi Bhaskarla in a fierce and commanding role as Mahadevi. The makers unveiled the character with the tagline “In a world of darkness, she becomes the force of order,” hinting at a strong, mythologically rooted narrative.

The film is written and directed by M. S. Raju, who is taking on direction for the first time in his career. Widely known as a successful producer, Raju has backed several notable Telugu films including Okkadu , Varsham , Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana , Pournami , Aata and Vaana , many of which were major commercial successes and helped shape mainstream Telugu cinema in the 2000s.

The film also features Ulka Gupta in a key role, adding further strength to the cast.

Backed by SAV Productions, Agadha appears to blend elements of mythology and drama, with a focus on powerful character arcs and a visually striking presentation. More details about the storyline and release are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
