Never seen before photos reveal of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island

Newly released photos and videos of Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James, offer an unprecedented look at the secluded property long linked to criminal activities and alleged human trafficking. On December 3, 2025, the House Oversight Committee made these images public for the first time, providing detailed views of both the interior and exterior of the island. Officials stated that the release is part of a broader effort to increase transparency and support ongoing investigations into Epstein’s network and associates.

The world is also now awaiting the release of the so-called “Epstein Files.” Under recent government directives, unclassified records from the Department of Justice, including investigative materials, financial documents, and communications related to Epstein’s activities, are expected to be made public. Experts anticipate that these files will offer further insights into the scope of Epstein’s operations and the individuals connected to them.

Little Saint James, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands, was owned by Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and convicted sex offender who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges. The island, featuring villas, a helipad, a pool, and multiple living spaces, has been the focus of extensive investigations due to allegations that Epstein used it to sexually abuse and traffic underage girls. His sudden death in custody sparked widespread controversy and conspiracy theories, with many in the public questioning the official ruling of suicide.

Following Epstein’s death, Little Saint James remained under the management of his estate while legal claims and settlements with victims were ongoing. In 2023, the island, along with the neighboring Great Saint James, was purchased by investor Stephen Deckoff for approximately $60 million. Deckoff has indicated plans to redevelop the islands into a luxury resort, marking a new chapter for the property long associated with Epstein’s criminal activities.

Over the years, despite widespread suspicion and reporting about Epstein’s crimes, interior photos of the island rarely surfaced. The property was private and heavily guarded, restricting access to authorities and media. Investigations were ongoing, and authorities withheld evidence to protect the integrity of legal proceedings, safeguard victims, and maintain privacy. Even after Epstein’s death, much of the evidence, including interior photos, remained sealed to prevent interference with investigations and potential lawsuits.

The newly released material shows bedrooms, bathrooms, study areas, outdoor spaces, and unusual items within the villas, including a dentist-style chair surrounded by dozens of masks resembling human faces. One image depicts a chalkboard with words such as “power,” “deception,” and “truth,” while another shows a telephone with speed-dial buttons labeled with names. Although the photos do not depict people or criminal acts directly, they provide insight into the environment where alleged abuses took place.

The release underscores both the challenges of prosecuting high-profile cases involving wealthy individuals and the importance of transparency in cases of sexual abuse and trafficking. Authorities have indicated that more unclassified files, including flight logs, financial records, and communications, may be released in the coming weeks. Advocates for survivors of sexual abuse have welcomed the release, noting that visual context can aid investigations and reinforce the urgency of accountability.
