Streaming giant Netflix on Saturday announced a landmark collaboration with Yash Raj Films (YRF) to bring a curated selection of the studio’s celebrated titles to audiences across more than 190 countries. The partnership aims to mark key occasions, festivals, and cinematic milestones by releasing YRF’s films in phases, offering global viewers access to some of Indian cinema’s most iconic works.

The rollout begins with a special collection honouring superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th birthday on November 2, featuring nine of his acclaimed YRF films including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer-Zaara and Chak De! India. The films will begin streaming from Saturday.

From November 14, audiences will be able to revisit YRF classics such as Chandni, Kabhi Kabhie, Vijay, Lamhe and Silsila. A collection of Ranveer Singh’s popular titles, including Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, Kill Dil, Befikre and Gunday, will be available from December 5.

To mark the festive season, 34 additional YRF films such as Bunty Aur Babli, Hum Tum, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Ta Ra Rum Pum will be released between December 12 and 28, with two new films premiering daily.

Coinciding with Salman Khan’s 60th birthday on December 27, his YRF blockbusters Ek Tha Tiger, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai will begin streaming. The celebration continues into 2026, starting with the Dhoom trilogy on November 28, 2025, followed by the Mardaani series on January 22, 2026. A special Valentine’s Week collection featuring romantic favourites such as Saathiya, Ishaqzaade, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Salaam Namaste will debut on February 7, 2026.

Netflix described the collaboration as a milestone in expanding the digital reach of Indian cinema and an opportunity to share Yash Raj Films’ five-decade cinematic legacy with audiences worldwide. The company noted that for over 50 years, Yash Raj Films has helped shape the heart and soul of Indian cinema through its iconic stories, and bringing this legacy to Netflix will allow global audiences to experience the colour, music, and magic of India’s film culture. Referring to its earlier documentary The Romantics , which offered an intimate glimpse into YRF’s legacy, Netflix said that this new partnership further deepens its commitment to championing the depth, diversity, and emotion of Indian storytelling.
