The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Sunday, extending the crucial medical entrance examination to Indian students abroad.

According to a statement shared by the Indian mission in Saudi Arabia, the examination was held from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm (local time) at the International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), Boys Section, located at Al Hasan Ibn Ali Street, Exit 24, Rawdah.

Authorities ensure strict adherence to guidelines, with the main entrance gate opening at 8:30 am , while candidates arriving after 11:00 am were denied entry , as per NTA regulations. Students were required to carry their admit cards, passport-size photographs, and valid identification proof , along with complying with the prescribed dress code.

The NEET-UG 2026 examination was conducted not only across India but also in over 15 international cities spanning more than 10 countries , including locations in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Europe, reflecting the growing number of Indian students pursuing medical education globally.

Initial reports from Riyadh and other international centres indicated a smooth and well-organised examination process , with no major disruptions reported. By the end of the day, students described the paper as “moderate in difficulty” , with the Biology section largely NCERT-based , while Physics was considered relatively challenging and Chemistry balanced.

Several candidates appreciated the efficient management at overseas centres , though some noted time pressure in Physics and lengthy calculations . Overall, the sentiment remained cautiously optimistic, with many hopeful of clearing the competitive cut-off.

The NTA is expected to release the provisional answer key and response sheets in the coming weeks.
