The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has released hall tickets for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) March 2026, setting the stage for one of the state’s largest academic exercises. The first-year examinations will commence on February 25 , followed by second-year exams from February 26 , with the schedule continuing until mid-March. Around 9.9 lakh students from across Telangana are expected to appear, underlining the scale and significance of the Intermediate system in shaping higher education opportunities.

Hall tickets have been made available through the login portals of government and private junior colleges. Students are required to collect them from their respective institutions, as direct public download access is restricted in most cases. The admit cards contain essential details including the student’s name, hall ticket number, subjects, examination dates and timings, reporting time, and examination centre address. Officials have advised students to verify all details carefully and report any discrepancies immediately to college authorities or the board.

A notable feature this year is the inclusion of a QR code on hall tickets. By scanning the code, students can easily locate their examination centres using digital maps and access route guidance. This facility is expected to benefit candidates travelling from remote areas by helping them identify routes and nearby landmarks.

To enhance accessibility and reduce last-minute difficulties, hall ticket download links and details may also be shared with students via SMS to the mobile numbers provided during registration. This digital support allows students to retrieve their information quickly in case of emergencies.

The examinations will be conducted in offline, pen-and-paper mode at thousands of centres set up across the state. Authorities have implemented strict arrangements to ensure smooth and fair conduct, including CCTV surveillance, flying squads, and sitting squads to monitor centres and prevent malpractice. Students must carry their hall tickets without fail and reach their examination centres at least 30 minutes before the reporting time. Electronic devices such as mobile phones and calculators are strictly prohibited inside examination halls.

Intermediate examinations are considered a crucial milestone in students’ academic journeys, influencing admissions into universities, professional courses, and competitive pathways. Officials emphasized that comprehensive measures have been taken to ensure the examinations are conducted peacefully, transparently, and fairly, safeguarding the academic future of lakhs of students across Telangana.
