The National Democratic Alliance’s ( NDA ) performance in the latest Assembly elections is being seen as a reaffirmation of public confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership . Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the results reflect growing support for the Centre’s vision of a Viksit Bharat and its development -focused governance.
Early trends show the NDA making notable gains in West Bengal, where it is leading in over 150 constituencies , while also maintaining a strong position in Assam. Naidu said the mandate highlights voter preference for inclusive growth and credible governance , and he congratulated Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party workers for the performance.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan described the outcome as a sign of a growing demand for change . Referring to the BJP’s performance in West Bengal, he said the results indicate shifting political dynamics and increasing acceptance of the double-engine government model. He also extended greetings to leaders including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, and West Bengal leader Suvendu Adhikari.
State IT Minister Nara Lokesh said the results reflect rising public preference for stability and transparency . He also noted that the entry of actor-turned-politician Vijay in Tamil Nadu signals changing political trends, with voters increasingly emphasizing efficient administration.
