Unity among NDA alliance partners is the foundation for public welfare and the comprehensive development of the constituency, Guntur West MLA Galla Madhavi said on Friday. She urged leaders of the TDP, Jana Sena and BJP to resolve minor differences through mutual understanding and coordination, just as family members settle their disagreements, and work together towards common goals.

Madhavi was speaking at an interaction meeting of NDA alliance corporators and candidates from Guntur West, organised under her leadership. Rajya Sabha MP Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Guntur Mayor Kovelamudi Lakshmi Aparna attended as chief guests. Several corporation chairpersons, including Degala Prabhakar, Malle Eshwara Rao, Bucchi Ram Prasad, Maddirala Manny and Thalla Venkatesh Yadav, along with Mirchi Yard chairman Kurra Apparao, Jana Sena parliamentary coordinator Kilari Rosaiah and BJP district president Cherukuri Tirupati Rao, were among those present.

Recalling the 2024 Assembly elections, Madhavi said voters and alliance workers had ensured her victory with a majority of around 50,000 votes. Similarly, the alliance had supported Lakshmi Aparna and secured her victory with a majority of over 50,000 votes from the constituency. She said standing by leaders and workers who trusted the party was an important part of their political approach.

She stressed that the contributions of leaders, party workers and their family members who worked selflessly for candidates' victories at the division level should never be forgotten. All sections of the alliance should be taken along in the development process.

Under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's leadership, the State was progressing, and corporators should establish themselves as exemplary public representatives through dedicated service, she said.

Madhavi asked corporators to identify local needs, submit development proposals to the Mayor, obtain council approval and coordinate continuously with officials to ensure effective implementation of projects. She particularly encouraged women representatives to set an example and bring visible improvements to the city.

Citing Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar and MP Bhashyam Ramakrishna as examples, she urged everyone to treat public service as a responsibility and work with dedication. She called for preserving alliance unity and ensuring that political differences did not create room for alternative forces. Newly elected corporators, alliance leaders and party workers attended the meeting.
