The Delhi Police on Sunday intensified its anti-drug awareness initiative, ‘Nasha - Not Cool’ , by organising flash mobs and a cycle rally across key locations in the city, according to an official statement.

The activities marked the third day of the week-long campaign , aimed at educating the public, particularly the youth about the dangers of substance abuse and promoting healthier lifestyle choices.

Flash mobs were held at prominent public spots , including Central Park in Connaught Place, Kartavya Path, and Select Citywalk Mall in Saket. Through engaging performances and creative expression , participants conveyed strong messages on the harmful effects of drug use and encouraged citizens to stay drug-free.

In addition, an early morning cycle rally was organised in the New Delhi district, drawing participation from around 400 individuals , including police personnel and young volunteers. The rally commenced from the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium , passed through India Gate and adjoining areas , and concluded at the starting point.

The campaign has garnered support from several prominent personalities, including actor Anil Kapoor , former cricketer Virender Sehwag , and ex-captain of the Indian women’s hockey team Rani Rampal , lending greater visibility to the initiative.

Delhi Police officials said the campaign will continue in the coming days with street plays, radio jingles, and social media outreach , as part of sustained efforts to spread awareness and curb drug abuse.
