Naravaripalle Welcomes CM Chandrababu Naidu for Sankranti, Projects and Community Interaction

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu celebrated Sankranti on Tuesday in his native village Naravaripalle , joined by his family members. Following the long-standing tradition of sharing festive joy with villagers, he arrived in the village for a four-day visit . From early morning, the village was filled with a vibrant festive atmosphere . The celebrations were attended by his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari, son IT Minister Nara Lokesh, and daughter-in-law Brahmani , and the CM and his family actively participated in the festivities held at the TTD Kalyana Mandapam .

Several traditional games and activities such as musical chairs, lemon-and-spoon races, and cockfights were organized for children. The Chief Minister enthusiastically watched the games, interacted with the children, and personally distributed prizes to the winners . He also appreciated the colorful rangolis made by women and presented them with rewards. Spending nearly two hours with the villagers, Chandrababu received petitions from residents and assured them that their grievances would be addressed .

As part of his Sankranti visit, the CM inaugurated several development projects in Naravaripalle and Tirupati. These included the 70 lakh rupees road connecting Rangampeta–Bheemavaram to Seshachala Lingeshwara Swamy temple , a 33/11 kV semi-indoor substation , a 1.4 crore rupees Skill Building Center , and the Sanjeevani Health Care Project to improve medical services. In Tirupati, he inaugurated the Patient Attendant Amenities Complex (45 lakh rupees) and new hostels at SV University, including a Boys Hostel (7.5 crore rupees) and Girls Hostel (5 crore rupees) .

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for a 126 crore rupees water supply project from the Neva Branch Canal to Kalyani Dam and several lakes, as well as a 10 lakh rupees animal shelter facility . To encourage research, he inaugurated centralized advanced research labs (6 crore rupees) at SV University and laid foundations for educational infrastructure, including the second floor of the academic building (5.03 crore rupees) and boundary wall construction (2.91 crore rupees) . On January 15 , the Chief Minister and his family will perform special poojas at the Nagalamma temple in their village before returning to Amaravati .
