Nara Bhuvaneswari Donates ₹76 Lakh to Anna Canteens on Chandrababu Naidu’s Birthday

Nara Bhuvaneswari has announced a donation of ₹76 lakh to the Anna Canteens , which serve the poor across the state from Srikakulam to Kuppam . Marking the 76th birthday of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu , she handed over a cheque of ₹76 lakh to officials on Saturday as part of her social responsibility initiative.

At a programme held at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office in Amaravati , she personally submitted the donation documents to the CEO of Anna Canteens .

Speaking on the occasion, Nara Bhuvaneswari said that Anna Canteens are not merely eateries but reflect a mother’s care in feeding the hungry . She praised the initiative launched by N. Chandrababu Naidu , stating that it aims to address hunger among the poor, labourers, and common people , and has become a vital support system for thousands of families. She remarked that there is no greater service than feeding those in distress .

On the occasion of the Chief Minister’s birthday on April 20 , she suggested that free meals be provided to all beneficiaries at the 269 Anna Canteens across the state. She also requested that the ₹76 lakh donation be utilised for conducting the free meal programme on that day and for the maintenance of the canteens.
