Nani’s 'The Paradise' Sets Advance Booking Records Ahead of September 24 Release

Natural Star Nani’s The Paradise is witnessing strong advance-booking momentum ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on September 24, with paid premiere shows scheduled for September 23. The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, has already crossed the ₹10-crore mark in Nizam advance sales, while North American pre-sales have moved past $600,000.

More than one lakh tickets have reportedly been sold in the Nizam region, with the film recording a rapid booking pace as additional theatres and shows continue to open. Worldwide opening-day pre-sales have also approached or crossed the ₹10-crore mark in early trade tracking, although the figures are still changing as bookings expand to more territories.

The overseas response has also added to the excitement. In North America, advance sales have crossed $600,000, with more than 24,000 tickets already sold according to trade tracking. The film had earlier crossed the $100,000 mark within hours of US bookings opening.

The Telangana government has permitted paid premiere shows on September 23 at 6:30 pm, with tickets priced at ₹500, including GST. It has also approved revised ticket prices for regular shows through October 3.

Meanwhile, Nani and the team are stepping up promotions on September 21. The actor is meeting around 10,000 fans in Hyderabad, followed by a grand pre-release event at Shilpakala Vedika. The makers are expected to unveil fresh promotional material during the event, adding to the excitement ahead of release.

The Paradise has also generated curiosity because the makers have deliberately kept much of the film's story under wraps. Nani recently confirmed that there will be no conventional theatrical trailer, saying the team chose to focus on completing the film rather than diverting time to cut another promotional video.

The film has received an A certificate from the CBFC and has a reported runtime of 2 hours and 49 minutes. Nani plays Jadal, while Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal and Sonali Kulkarni are among the other prominent cast members. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music.

The story is rooted in the experiences of a marginalised community, with Odela revealing that several real-life incidents he witnessed while growing up in Telangana inspired elements of the film. The director and Nani have also highlighted the emotional mother-son relationship at the heart of the intense action drama.

With strong advance sales, premium premiere pricing and an unconventional promotional campaign, The Paradise is heading into its final days before its September 24 release with considerable audience interest.
