Nani’s ‘Bloody Romeo’ Goes on Floors in Delhi, Hyderabad Next
Natural Star Nani has begun shooting for Bloody Romeo, his upcoming film directed by Sujeeth, in New Delhi. The initial schedule is reportedly planned for a week, after which the team will move to Hyderabad for the next phase of filming. London and other parts of the United Kingdom are also expected to feature in the shooting schedule.
Announced on Nani’s birthday in February 2026, Bloody Romeo marks the first collaboration between the actor and Sujeeth, known for Saaho and They Call Him OG. The film is being positioned as a stylish action entertainer blending action, humour and drama.
The promotional video introduced Nani as a character combining the identities of a chef and a gangster. The actor recently unveiled a new look for the project, featuring a sharper hairstyle and a stylish appearance that contrasts with his rugged look in The Paradise. A promotional video released in October offered a glimpse of his transformation while retaining the film’s culinary theme.
Preity Mukundhan has reportedly been selected as the female lead, although an official announcement from the makers is awaited. Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has also been linked to an important role, but his casting remains unconfirmed.
The film is produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the Niharika Entertainment banner, in association with Unanimous Productions. Pravin Lakkaraju is composing the music, according to the current report.
The makers are targeting a Summer 2027 release, with further details about the cast and production schedule expected to emerge as filming progresses.
Meanwhile, Nani’s The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 22. The film reportedly performed strongly at the box office, crossing ₹160 crore worldwide, according to trade reports.
