Nani Confirms No Trailer for ‘The Paradise’ Ahead of September 24 Release

Actor Nani has confirmed that his upcoming period drama The Paradise will arrive in theatres without a conventional full-length trailer, with the makers choosing to let the film "speak for itself" ahead of its worldwide release on September 24.

The decision has become part of the film's promotional strategy rather than simply a consequence of its tight post-production schedule. A recent social media post highlighting the approach pointed to several films that released without traditional trailers, including Kabali, Geetha Govindam, Sarkar, Mahanati, Master, Singham and others, before adding The Paradise to that list.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film follows Jadal, a man from an oppressed community whose life is shaped by injustice, rebellion and an emotional struggle for dignity. A significant part of the story is also the relationship between Jadal and his mother, giving the intense period drama a strong emotional core.

Nani said the team did not want to rush a trailer while the film is still going through demanding post-production work. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that the final product reaches audiences in the best possible form.

The actor has also been careful about how The Paradise is positioned. While the movie is being released in multiple languages, Nani has rejected the tendency to simply label it a "pan-India" film, stressing its Telugu identity and roots.

Despite the film's gritty visual presentation and large-scale image, Nani has clarified that audiences should not expect underwater sequences or gigantic battle scenes. He also shared humorous moments while discussing director Srikanth Odela's notorious struggles with managing time during production.

The unusual promotional strategy now puts greater emphasis on the film itself. With no full trailer to reveal its story or scale, audiences will have to wait until September 24 to discover what Nani and Odela have created.

For the makers, the gamble is straightforward: rather than showing audiences everything before release, they want The Paradise to make its strongest statement inside the theatre.
