The upcoming pan-Indian mythological film Nagabandham is slated for a theatrical release on July 3, 2026 , positioning itself as one of the more ambitious entries in the genre this year. Written and directed by Abhishek Nama, the film blends elements of ancient lore, action, and visual spectacle, drawing inspiration from traditional beliefs surrounding the “Nagabandham” ritual often associated with safeguarding hidden temple treasures, notably in sites like Padmanabhaswamy Temple .

Headlined by Virat Karrna , alongside Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon , the film features a supporting cast that includes Jagapathi Babu and Mahesh Manjrekar . Backed by producers Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy under NIK Studios and Abhishek Pictures, the project is being mounted on a large scale with a strong emphasis on visual effects and pan-Indian appeal.

The film has already generated considerable buzz following the release of its teaser, unveiled by Mahesh Babu, which garnered millions of views across platforms. Adding to the film’s growing visibility is the success of its recently released track “Namo Re,” which has emerged as a viral hit. The song, rooted in devotional and mythological themes, has resonated with audiences for its powerful composition and visual presentation, further amplifying anticipation around the film.

With planned releases in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, Nagabandham aims to tap into a broad audience base, leveraging both its mythological narrative and strong promotional momentum in the lead-up to its release.
