Naga Vamsi’s Costliest Telugu Web Series With Siddhu Jonnalagadda Set For 2027

Producer Naga Vamsi has shared a major update about his upcoming web series starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The untitled show is being made under Sithara Entertainments, with Venky Atluri as the director.

Naga Vamsi had earlier revealed that the series would be the costliest web series in the Telugu OTT space. Siddhu Jonnalagadda will play the lead, while Meenakshi Chaudhary has been cast as the female lead. The project also marks Siddhu’s OTT debut and Venky Atluri’s entry into the digital space.

There was earlier talk that the series would premiere on Netflix in 2026. However, Venky has now cleared the air on its release plans. Speaking in a recent interview, the director said the series is shaping up well and confirmed that it will not release in 2026. He added that the show is expected to arrive in early 2027.

The announcement comes as Venky Atluri prepares for the release of Vishwanath & Sons. The Suriya and Mamitha Baiju starrer is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and will arrive in theatres worldwide on August 14. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the film.

Meanwhile, details about the web series, including its title, story and final streaming platform, are still under wraps. The combination of Siddhu, Meenakshi and Venky has already created interest among Telugu OTT audiences.
